For users familiar with Tasker, just a bit change to this profile will let you download any format file on a webpage. All you need is to change the regular expression in third action "Variable Search Replace", the original expression (?<=src=["'])\S+?.jpg is used to extract all jpg images. For example, you can change it to (?<=src=["'])\S+?.gif so it can download all gif format images.
